Welcome to the 2024-2025 Religious Education Program

Registration starts July 2, 2024

*** Before a family may register to REP, they need to be registered to the Parish First ***

Thank you for signing up your children to the Parish Religious Education Program. We would like to inform you that at this time:

Tuesday 1st Yr Confirmation class is closed but the Sunday and Thursday are still open.

Registration to REP is first come first served. Please register as soon as possible to get your first choice schedule. PC/Mac using Chrome/Edge is the preferred platform to register online.
Parents or Head of the family, go to the parish website and access the “My Own Church” to view/update your file.
Click on Religious Education.
Sign up your child/children by following these steps:

Click Submit when finished.
You will directed to the Payment form: Pay & Submit.
You will receive a confirmation email saying “we cannot guarantee placement". Please disregard this email and proceed to Pay Now to complete the registration. Registration Fee: 1st Child - $150 and $80 for every additional child.
Registration is only complete after payment is processed.
You will receive a confirmation email about your child’s placement in the class. We ask for your patience at this time, we are receiving many registrations and your confirmation may take a bit longer.

To prepare the children, youth and/or adults to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist (Holy Communion) and Confirmation.
To foster a partnership with parents in their children's journey of faith.
Through the RCIA Program (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults), to assist everyone who would like to know more about the Catholic Faith.

Completed REP Registration Form (Form available online @ materdeicv.org)
Payment (due at the time of registration)
Copy of Parent’s Church Marriage Certificate (submit to the Catechist on the 2^nd day of class)
Copy of Child(ren)’s Baptismal Certificate (submit to the Catechist on the 2^nd day of class)

Register to the Parish (Online)
Start attending mass at Mater Dei and participate in the parish life and ministry
Transfer letter/Transcript from previous REP (submit to the REP Office prior to REP registration)
Plus, the documents needed prior to REP Registration

Communion:

Pre-Communion (1^st year): For students in grades 1-2
- Grades 3 and up students who need the Pre-Communion class (1^st year) will attend the REP class based on their grade level in their Elementary School. This will count as their Pre-Communion (1^st year preparation). On their second year, they will attend the Communion Upper Grade class (2^nd year)
Communion (2^nd year): For students who already completed the Pre-Communion (1^st year) preparation requirements

Confirmation:

Pre-Confirmation (1st year): Students in grades 9-11
Confirmation (2nd year): For students who already completed all the Pre-Confirmation (1st year) requirements, may be registered to the second-year Confirmation class
